Whichever direction you look at La Hat, you will think that it is a 2 storey house. In fact it has 3 storeys!. Built in the 1970’s it is named after an African mine.
La Hat overlooks the dunes that form the natural barrier between the houses and the beach. In the dunes there are various beach huts, but other than these there are no other dwellings between you and the beach. It takes only a minute or so to get on to the beach from the back door of La Hat.
Parking
There is room for 3 cars if parked carefully. Please see the notes regarding parking in the handbook on arrival.

The Blue bedroom has a Kingsize double bed, standalone wardrobe and drawers, wicker Gandhi chair, A Television is attached to the stand in the corner of the room. The curtains and duvet covers are of a modern circle effect and are part of the recent renovation programme |

The purple bedroom faces the side of the building, and has 2 single beds, a built in wardrobe, and a wicker Gandhi chair in the corner. There are also bedside cabinets with drawers which also have lamps on. |

The smaller of the bedrooms is the bunk bedroom which has 6ft single bunk beds to sleep 2, built in wardrobe with standalone small cabinet. It also has a Gandhi chair in the corner. The beds are ideal for older children, but quite capable of sleeping 2 adults. |

A well appointed and light main bathroom with large Shower, children’s size bath, basin, and WC. The shower walling is constructed from blue and clear glass bricks giving a wonderful array of differing and diffuse light particularly on sunny mornings. The bathroom is heated by a ladder radiator suitable for drying towels and has a large mirror on one wall. |

| La Hat has a fabulous living area that has a high ceiling giving a wonderful airiness to add to the spectacular views overlooking the beach at the front.
With plenty of light flooding in of a morning from the land side of the property. It is bright during the day and as evening draws in you will be able to enjoy the legendary sunset views, as can be seen from the photographs throughout this site. Due to positioning, North Norfolk is the only area where the sun sets over the sea in East Anglia.
The L shaped room has the dining area at the far end next to the kitchen. The room has 3 large radiators as well as an enclosed wood burning stove. Ideal to cosy upto on a cold winters evening or after a long walk.
We have updated the room with a 32” flat screen LCD television which receives all freestat stations as well as the normal terrestrial channels. There is a DVD player attached so don’t forget your CD’s or favourite DVD’s!
There are 2 large sofas, a tub chair, 2 pouffe’s and other cushions to relax in. There are additionally 3 lamps for softer more atmospheric lighting.
The dining area has an extendable table with 8 tall back leather dining chairs. |

Kitchen and Utility Room |

The kitchen also has an amazing view over the beach. It is well equipped with modern facilities. In the kitchen there is a cooker with 4 pan hob, a washing up machine and all of the equipment and place settings you will need if you wish to rustle up something from the amazing local Norfolk produce.
In addition to the cooking and eating utensils the cupboards also house the cushions for the outside chairs in summer as well as a small collection of books and games.

TOP FLOOR

Leading from the living area is the upstairs floor. Upstairs is another room with a King size double bed in it. However it is the views from up here that overlook the beach, that will make the lucky occupants never want to leave. Waking with a view over Hunstanton beach will remain with you for many a long day after you have left.
